Collection: Give the animals a voice!

Selection of works on sale at the Galerie Gallimard, gathered on the occasion of the exhibition Parole aux animaux! Un bestiaire de Gallimard Jeunesse, held from March 20 to May 25, 2019.

Children's literature is a wonderful reservoir of images, and illustration is an essential and demanding art. The theme of the bestiary makes it possible to address all ages and reveal a range of styles ranging from the dreamlike to the humorous, from the touching to the upsetting. It is often through animals that our artists express the imagination and emotion of the texts.
